SKF Dual Compound fork seals for RockShox 35 mm

Fork seals do more than just reliably keep dirt and moisture out of the suspension fork. Their friction also has a direct impact on the fork's responsiveness.

The SKF Dual Compound fork seals were developed using two bonded rubber compounds and an optimised geometry for the sealing and wiper lips. As a result, the seals follow the 35 mm stanchions reliably without generating unnecessarily high friction. This supports sensitive responsiveness while simultaneously protecting the interior of the suspension fork from contaminants.

An open tension spring on the wiper lip ensures uniform contact pressure and improves protection against dust, mud, and moisture. The redesigned metal insert stabilises the seal and ensures a secure fit in the lower legs.

What you need for installation

Oil and grease are not included. To fit the seals, you also need:

• WPS FL01 Lower Leg Lube: lubricating oil for the lower legs
• Danico Biotech Race Grease: for greasing the seal lips
• PUSH seal installation tool in 35 mm: presses the seals in straight without damaging them
