MTB-Raceshop: In-house products from Dällikon
MTB-Raceshop is a Swiss bike shop with a workshop and suspension department in Dällikon (ZH). We offer workshop and suspension parts under our own brand, such as crush washers, brake caliper spacers, and a SAG measuring tool, as well as bikepark accessories and merch.
It all started with the MTB Raceshop Cardholder, our first in-house product. The idea came to us in the bikepark: if you take your phone out of your pocket for a quick video, you can easily lose your lift pass.

Crush washers for suspension forks
Compression and sealing washers for the lower fork bolts, available in three versions: POM Large, POM Small, and Aluminium for TALAS. They should be replaced every time the lower legs are removed.
200 to 203 mm spacers

15 cm stainless steel ruler
A stainless steel rulerthat fits on any stanchion: use it to measure the SAG on forks and shocks – and incidentally, saddle height, spacers, or bolts.
300 mm cable ties
100 cable tiesin 300 mm length: for securing brake lines and cables and for quick emergency repairs on the trail.
Crush washers: which version fits your fork?
Crush washers seal the lower bolts of the suspension fork. During a lower-leg service, they are removed along with the foot nuts and replaced with new ones – according to FOX, every time they are assembled. The dimensions are inner × outer diameter × height:
- POM Large – 13 × 15.95 × 2 mm, POM composite with MoS₂/PTFE: damper side of many forks, e.g., FOX 34, 36, and 40.
- POM Small – 8.10 × 10.90 × 2 mm: spring side of FOX 32, 34, and 36 (without TALAS) as well as FOX 40; fits most RockShox forks.
- Aluminium – 6.60 × 11.12 × 2 mm: for the TALAS side of FOX TALAS forks.
All versions can be ordered individually. You can find new fork seals for the lower-leg service at SKF; we offer a complete service in our suspension servicedepartment.

From 200 to 203 mm: Spacers for the brake caliper
There is a 3 mm difference in diameter between a 200 mm and a 203 mm brake disc, which means 1.5 mm in radius. These spacers shift the brake caliper outward by exactly this amount. They go between the brake caliper and the mount or adapter, allowing you to continue using your existing 200 mm adapter.
Check after assembly:
- The brake caliper is positioned correctly over the disc, and the pads rest fully on the braking surface.
- The mounting bolts have sufficient thread engagement despite the additional 1.5 mm.
- The bolts are tightened to the brake manufacturer's torque specifications.
You can find brake discs and pads, for example, at Galferand Brembo. The 1.5 mm spacersare available in a set of two.

Frequently asked questions about MTB-Raceshop products
Which crush washers do I need for my FOX fork?
For FOX 34, 36, and 40, you need the MTB-Raceshop POM Large crush washers (13 mm inner diameter) on the damper side, and POM Small (8.10 mm inner diameter) on the spring side. FOX TALAS forks require the aluminium version on the TALAS side. When in doubt, measure your old washers or ask us.
Do the MTB-Raceshop crush washers fit RockShox?
The POM Small version fits most RockShox forks. Since forks differ depending on model and generation, compare the dimensions with your old washers before ordering – or send us the model and year.
Can I switch from 200 to 203 mm with the spacers?
Yes. The MTB-Raceshop spacers shift the brake caliper by 1.5 mm – exactly the difference in radius between 200 mm and 203 mm discs. After assembly, check the position of the pads on the disc and the thread engagement of the bolts.
How do I measure the SAG with the ruler?
Slide the rubber ring down the stanchion or shock shaft, sit on the bike in riding position, and carefully step off. Use the MTB-Raceshop ruler to measure the distance and calculate the ratio relative to the travel. For coil springs, the Spring Calculatorwill help you determine the spring rate.
