SKF Dual Compound Fork Seals for FOX 32

Fork seals not only influence how reliably dirt and moisture are kept out of the suspension fork; their friction also has a direct effect on the fork's response.

The SKF Dual Compound fork seals were developed using two bonded rubber compounds and an optimised geometry for the sealing and wiper lips. As a result, the seals follow the 32 mm stanchions reliably without generating unnecessarily high friction. This supports a sensitive response while protecting the inside of the suspension fork from contamination.

An open tension spring on the wiper lip ensures uniform contact pressure and improves protection against dust, mud, and moisture. The revised metal insert stabilises the seal and ensures a secure fit in the casting.

The seal kit is suitable for the following suspension forks:

• FOX 32 – all models from model year 2016
• FOX 32 Step-Cast from model year 2016
• FOX 32 XC Factory from model year 2016
• FOX 32 XC Performance from model year 2016
• FOX 32 AX Adventure Cross from model year 2020

Not suitable for older FOX 32 suspension forks before model year 2016. A different SKF seal kit is required for these versions.

What you need for installation

Oil and grease are not included. To fit the seals, you also need:

• WPS FL01 Lower Leg Lube: lubricating oil for the lower legs
• Danico Biotech Race Grease: for greasing the seal lips
• PUSH seal installation tool in 32 mm: presses the seals in straight without damaging them
