Wider, softer, sturdier - this is the third generation of the popular VHS Slapper Tape!

The VHS 3.0 comes with an improved design, optimised materials, improved adhesives, and new iconic packaging.

It is not easy to develop the perfect Slapper Tape, but the VHS 3.0 is close.

A significant improvement over the 2.0 tape is the increased base surface from 70mm to 140mm. This eliminates all exposed edges that could snag on shoes.

Installation

• Remove your existing chainstay protector (including any protective film).
• Clean the chainstay thoroughly to remove dirt and old adhesive.
• Follow up by wiping with isopropyl alcohol to get it spotless. Avoid using household cleaners, as they often contain silicone, which prevents the adhesive from sticking.
• Test the length of the VHS tape and trim if necessary.
• Peel off the centre backing film, align the tape, and press it firmly and evenly onto the frame. Then, stick down the two side sections one after the other to ensure a clean result.
• Let it cure for at least 30 minutes before riding, or up to 6 hours in damp conditions.
• Leftover pieces can be used for other small areas.
