The PEATY’S MONARCH GRIPs:

• The tapered & asymmetrical grip body provides plenty of cushioning and comfort on the top while ensuring maximum grip and great feel on the bottom
• The "zigzag" design thumb rest offers maximum pressure relief for the thumb
• The finger ridges are cut deep into the grip to ensure maximum grip and feel for the handlebars
• The tapered grip core, which is made from 80% recycled ocean plastic, adapts optimally to the handlebars and prevents the grip from twisting at the bar ends
• The half-flange on the inside and "pinky" ramp for the little finger on the outside let you identify the two ends of the grip
• The grips offer 130 mm of grip surface and are attached with slim 8 mm wide lock rings
• Grips available in the colours Black, Red, Mango, Turquoise, Slate, and Gum
• Replaceable anodized aluminium lock rings available in 12 different colours sold separately

The Monarch grip is the result of decades of experience in downhill racing and an 18-month development process. During these 18 months, we surveyed over 1,000 people about their grip likes and dislikes, tested countless grips, and even set up our own internal 3D printing and casting workshop to test and refine the smallest details over hundreds of hours - down to the last 0.25 mm - seriously!

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Remove your old grips and clean / degrease the handlebars thoroughly.

Slide the grips onto the handlebars, making sure they are installed on the correct side. The “L” and “R” markings on the lock ring indicate the orientation from the rider's perspective during installation.

Align the grips so that the crown logo at the end faces upwards. This establishes a good standard position. Depending on your riding position and preference, the grip position can be adjusted slightly forwards or backwards.

Tap the grip onto the handlebar to ensure the ends are fully seated onto the tapered core. A firm strike with the palm of your hand should be sufficient; a hammer is not necessary!

Tighten the 3mm Allen bolt on the lock ring to 3Nm.
