Description
With the Jagwire Needle Driver, you press the insert (needle) cleanly into a shortened hydraulic brake hose. With a hammer, the insert can bend or sit crooked – then the hose won't seal properly and braking performance suffers. The Needle Driver holds the hose firmly in a clamp and pushes the insert in straight.
- Adjustable clamp holds the end of the hose firmly
- Double-sided magnetic bit for standard inserts and inserts with a Torx head, e.g. from SRAM
- Spare steel bit included
- Lightweight plastic body
How it works
- Cut the hose cleanly and squarely
- Slide on the compression nut and olive as specified by your brake manufacturer
- Put the insert on the bit, clamp the hose and press the insert in flush
- Fit the hose and bleed the brake
