SKF Dual Compound fork seals for FOX 36

Fork seals do more than just reliably keep dirt and moisture out of the suspension fork. Their friction also directly affects the fork's responsiveness.

SKF Dual Compound fork seals were developed using two bonded rubber compounds and an optimised geometry for the sealing and scraper lips. As a result, the seals reliably follow the 36 mm stanchions without generating excessively high friction. This supports sensitive responsiveness while simultaneously protecting the inside of the suspension fork from contamination.

An open tension spring on the scraper lip ensures uniform contact pressure and improves protection against dust, mud, and moisture. The revised metal insert stabilises the seal and ensures a secure fit in the lower legs.

Oil and grease are not included. To fit the seals, you also need:

• WPS FL01 Lower Leg Lube: lubricating oil for the lower legs
• Danico Biotech Race Grease: for greasing the seal lips
• PUSH seal installation tool in 36 mm: presses the seals in straight without damaging them
