Vorsprung Smashpot heat shrink tubing for the cartridge tube

The Vorsprung Smashpot heat shrink tubing for the cartridge tube is an original spare part for the Smashpot. It sits on the cartridge tube and holds the spacers used to adjust the travel in place.

When do you need it?

• When changing the travel with the internal spacers – according to the Vorsprung manual, the heat shrink tubing should be replaced when doing so
• When installing the Smashpot into a different fork

Installation

• Slide the tubing over the tube and shrink it evenly using a heat gun until it fits tightly
• Trim the excess ends flush
• The openings on the seal head must not be covered
• The exact position can be found in the Vorsprung Smashpot manual
