Description
The RockShox star nut (ahead nut, star nut) sits inside the steerer tube and holds the bolt for the ahead cap. You use this to adjust the headset bearing.
- For 1 1/8" steerer tubes made of steel or aluminium
- Not for carbon steerer tubes – these require an expander plug
To install it, use a star nut setting tool to ensure it sits straight inside the steerer tube.
